Skill of Guardian Build  posté le mardi 11 mai 2010 03:27

IMVU Credit has the same status as the experience. As a new player, you should store some gold to arm yourself. Now I share my skills of guardian build.

Strength Build:

Most players follow a 3 times of strength to build. This is a good starting point as you will do pretty decent damage with decent gears as well as have the HP boost to survive while grinding. However, as strength build you still need to accommodate for dexterity in your build so that you can hit mobs every hit without missing. Personally, I stayed with base dexterity all the way up until level 60 where I was able to use four Wings of Solemn Death. I made up for my lack of dexterity by utilizing level 1 Invoke and dexterity accessories. If you are not a member of the Exchange Market, I suggest still using dexterity accessories. If you ever do get your hands on a Wings of Solemn Death, you do not have too much dexterity.

Dexterity Build:

This build is often referred to as a build of cash user as it is incredibly gear dependent. I do not suggest using a full dexterity build. Many people just put in 1 or even 0 points of vitality per level in order to maximize their critical hit damage, but remember that you will be a critic based build and should have little problems taking down players as high above you as 5 to 10 levels depending on your level and weapon.

Hybrid Build:

This is the most powerful build for a Guardian there is but it is very gear dependent. Without the proper weapons and armor, you will be squishy and an easy target to take out and if you do not have the proper weapons then you will not be taking advantage of what the hybrid build offers — steady base hits with devastating critics. The majority of your stat points should still be going into strength, with a point or so going into dexterity every level.

DIPLOMACY  posté le mardi 11 mai 2010 03:26

Buy Vanguard Gold which is one of basic conditions for a good diplomacy. Have you ever wanted to play a character in an online game where you could do wonders just by talking to people and convincing them of different things? Well, Vanguard has that included. Diplomacy is one of the spheres in the game. It is basically like a mini game from the final fantasy series.

Diplomacy is done by right clicking on an NPC, and when you see the spot in the dialogue where quests are listed, there will be a special quest of sorts followed by some colorful pictures. This is a diplomatic conversation. Look at the information provided before you click on it though. You will see up to four colorful pictures, if there is less, then that means something very important. The ones shown represent the suits available during that particular conversation. The ones missing represent the suits that are NOT available. This means that if your current strategy is built towards reason, and you engage in a gossip conversation, you will be hard pressed to win because gossip does not allow reason to be used. The easiest conversations to win usually are the interviews since they allow everything, no holds are barred.

The second piece of information listed is a number. That number tells you approximately what level of diplomacy is needed to have a good shot of winning, so if you have only 75 diplomacy, and you are looking at a conversation with a level of 200, you may want to think heavily about looking for someone else to talk to. After you have determined that your strategy looks good for the battle and that you have at least somewhere near the level needed, go ahead and click on the conversation to begin your diplomatic battle. In the battle you will see three main things: Your Strategy, the Playing Field, and the Dialogue Box. Do not worry so much about the dialogue box during the conversation; you can read that at the end of the battle before you close out of it.

Acquire Skills and Train Them  posté le mardi 11 mai 2010 03:25

Megaten money can help you learn skills. Quests require skills and so you need to know how to acquire them and train them, so here we go with enough money.

Skill master:

This NPC can teach you any skill you will need in the game. He resides just inside the city, so look around when entering the city to find him. He is also able to help you to learn and upgrade special skills and advance skills beyond level 31. When learning a skill, you will also get the basic equipment needed to train the skill.

Every 4 levels you gain a stunt point in a skill which the Skill master can use to give you access to special abilities. Learning special abilities can be done in the second screen under Special. Learning or upgrading abilities will cost some money, with the upgrade increasingly costing more. Choose well. Passive skills do not cost SP and are always active, while other abilities cost a certain amount of SP to use.

Resource skills:

In VCO, you have a lot of skills that you can use to gather resources yourself. Skills like mining, timber felling, planting, and fishing are resource skills. When you have learned the skill at the skill master you can practice these skills in the suburbs of a city, except for fishing where you have to go off shore scene. You can replace your worn down equipment at the blacksmith or other merchants. To make ore or logs into usable items you will need to open up the command window. On land tab you can select the production windows for ore and other categories of resources. At this screen you can select the level of ore desired and compound 3 ores into a bar. This will cost 5 SP, just as using a resource skill gradually reduces your SP up to the point where you need to rest.

Weapon Axes and Swords  posté le mardi 11 mai 2010 03:23

buy Grand Fantasia Gold to trade the better weapon which is appropriate for your character.

Axes

My main weapons, so I have the most info here, you will note a lack of 2h mentioned, this is because when I did occasionally switch to 2h to try it out I generally used a blue 2hand axe rather than crafting one. Blue usually have somewhat more attack than crafted gear and higher stats at the cost of not having additional effects. For me this was usually a fair enough trade off.

Purple Tiger is the first weapon with built in crit damage bonus. If you specialize in crit this is one to hang on to. Heavyweight champ has 30 percents chance to reflect 30 percents of physical damage when struck. Not bad, not fantastic, but not bad either, There is definite use for this axe. Just understand that reflect does not reduce the damage you take you simply share it with your enemy. King of the battlefield has hit rate of Buff randomly while attacking, thereby removing most of those annoying misses. Jungle Warrior Axe is not 100 percents sure what this axe does yet need some input here. I have seen it getting used here and there but have not made one yet. Haven has gotten to the 48 axes yet, you keep watch here for updates.

Swords

You see a lot of these Flaming Fang being dual wielded early on, and they are a good early option for dual wielders, 15 percents chance for a secondary attack is nice, however understand that secondary attacks are treated like skill hits, and therefore effects that only apply to normal attacks cannot trigger from them including the life absorption of ruthless axe. Bloody Rose is the next step in life absorption and the last one for quite awhile. I have not bothered to use any other swords.

Clowns in Ragnarok  posté le mercredi 05 mai 2010 04:12

iro zeny is very useful for clowns in MVP. Clowns are one of the best supporting jobs in Ragnarok. They may not have the strength of the knights nor the agility of the assassins but they have the capability of paralyzing a lot of enemies. Almost all of the stats of Ragnarok clowns are similar. It evolves around dexterity, luck and intelligence. If you want to experiment with builds, you could go with agility, luck and strength. But why would you go this way if you can not maximize the Ragnarok clown skills? If you want to go for agility then I advised for you to take the sniper job and not a clown.

In MVP hunt, clowns are better off to party with other Ragnarok players. Solo MVP Clowns are rare because they are more efficient when in a party. Besides, it does not matter who the MVP is, what matters are the loots that you will be getting in the MVP hunt. With the help of the clown, biochemists, monks and priests could perform better in your party. MVP that clowns could fight along with the aid of the priest is Moonlight and Evil Snake Lord. But if you are competing with others in hunting them, you have a poor chance of becoming the MVP.

Cast the Arrow Vulcan skill until the MVP monster dies. Use frost joke once in a while to freeze the annoying mobs. The truth is your success matters most with the ability of the priest in your party. Stay in the safe spot. You could cast B poem and frost joke alternately. B is cast to help decrease the casting delay of the party members. Frost joke is cast to freeze the mobs of the MVP but there is a low chance that you could freeze some or one of your co-party members.
